We can all acknowledge the last 18 months have been extremely difficult for so many people, nationwide, worldwide. We’ve seen escalating rates of depression and anxiety, which has seen a rise in people accessing crisis lines and mental health services since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It’s great to see people reaching out and seeking help to support their mental wellbeing, alarmingly though young people, who are our most at risk, are less likely than any other age group to seek professional help – making it clear how important and critical our role is in nurturing our children’s mental health.
