The word sorry and the way we use it matters a lot. Although heartfelt apologies don’t fully erase the hurt, they do express that you care and understand the situation, and that’s important. There have been multiple studies showing how sincere apologies do reduce anger and resentment leading to better relationships.

We all know how to say sorry even from a young age, but how can we teach our children to give a genuine apology that move others whilst leaving them feeling empowered and not humiliated?

In this episode Bree chats with Parent Coach - Rachel Schofield about teaching our children how to take responsibility for their actions and give heartfelt apologies.
